How the master franchise works

The Swan model has two parts. A central plant does all the cleaning, finishing and quality checks, and a network of compact stores takes in garments and runs doorstep collection. As master franchisee you own both parts in your territory.

• Plant. You set up and run a Swan plant to our equipment specification, layout and process.
• Own stores. You open the first Swan stores in your city to build the brand and volume.
• Unit stores. You develop unit stores with local partners, and every unit store sends its garments to your plant.
• Business accounts. Hotels, hospitals, institutions and offices in your territory add steady plant volume.

Why a plant-led model

A plant is the expensive, technical part of a laundry business. Running one plant for many stores keeps machines busy, keeps quality consistent and lets each store stay small and inexpensive. It is the same model we run in the Chandigarh Tricity, where one plant in Sector 82, Mohali serves our stores in Chandigarh, Mohali and Panchkula.

What Swan provides

• Brand and trademark. Swan Clean® is a registered trademark, with stores in Chandigarh, Mohali and Panchkula and business clients that include Indian School of Business, IHCL and Ramada properties.
• Plant know-how. Our plant in Sector 82, Mohali runs German Seitz dry cleaning, Diversey laundry chemistry (Ecocert and Dermatest certified), Veit, Macpi and Naomoto finishing, and is Green Earth Cleaning certified. Master and own-plant partners get the same equipment specification, layout and process.
• Technology. Customer app on Google Play and the App Store, WhatsApp ordering, a CRM that tracks every enquiry, garment tagging and order updates.
• Training. Garment intake and inspection, stain and fabric care, pricing, customer service, collection and delivery, and the store software, before you open.
• Launch and marketing. Launch campaigns for your catchment, local digital marketing, and enquiries from your area passed to your store.
• Ongoing reviews. Quarterly business reviews on numbers, quality and local growth.

We share investment figures privately, after a first call, because they depend on the format, the city and the size of the site. Tell us your city and the budget you are planning in the form, and our franchise team will send a written proposal for that format.

From enquiry to opening

1. Enquiry. Send the form or WhatsApp 9115-505-505 with your city.
2. Introductory call. We talk through the three formats and which suits your city and budget.
3. Proposal and disclosure. You receive the investment, fees and projections for your format, in writing.
4. Visit. See our stores and plant in the Chandigarh Tricity.
5. Site and agreement. We help assess the location, then sign the franchise agreement.
6. Set-up and training. Store fit-out (and plant, where it applies), equipment, staff training and launch.
