Wedding Wear Dry Cleaning in Chandigarh
Lehengas, sherwanis and zari sarees carry hand embroidery, beadwork and metallic thread that ordinary cleaning can damage. Swan Clean cleans them with a gentle process, finishes them carefully and returns them finished for the function or for storage.
- Lehengas, sherwanis and sarees
- Gentle on zari and embroidery
- Free doorstep collection
- Packed on hanger or folded
What we clean for weddings
- Lehengas and their dupattas, including heavily worked bridal pieces and kids’ lehengas
- Sherwanis, plain and embroidered, along with ethnic jackets and waistcoats
- Sarees in silk and zari, with blouses
- Anarkalis, suits and gowns with sequins, mirror work, gota or stonework
Embellished garments are dry cleaned using our Green Earth Cleaning process, which is gentle on fabrics and embellishments and leaves no chemical odour behind.
How embellished wear is handled
Every wedding garment is inspected before cleaning. Loose beads, lifting sequins, open hooks and food or make-up marks are noted, and stains are treated one by one with professional Diversey and Seitz chemistry. After cleaning in our European-engineered machines, the garment is finished by hand on our pressing equipment, working around raised embroidery rather than flattening it. Sherwanis and sarees go back on hangers; heavy lehenga skirts are usually folded so their weight does not pull the waistband.
If a hook, button or seam needs fixing, ask for it at collection; our alterations and repairs service can take care of it in the same order.

Before you hand over the outfit
- Hand over the complete set together: lehenga, blouse and dupatta, or sherwani, churidar and stole. Matching pieces are cleaned and finished as one set so the colours stay even.
- Remove detachable brooches, buttons, safa pins and latkans, or point them out so they are protected.
- Mention marks you know about, such as mehendi, haldi, sindoor, food or make-up. Haldi and sindoor in particular need early attention.
- Check pockets and inner linings for jewellery hooks or safety pins left in after the function.
Wedding season in the tricity: how much notice to give
Wedding season across Chandigarh, Mohali and Panchkula runs roughly from October to February, and it is also when the plant is busiest. Standard orders come back in 24–48 hours, but for an outfit you will wear on a fixed date, book at least a week ahead. That leaves time to look at the result, try it on and ask for any further touch-up.
After the event, book a collection within a few days. Sweat, perfume, food and make-up are easier to remove while fresh, and some marks that are invisible now turn yellow or brown in storage.
Storing wedding wear after the event
- Clean it before you put it away, even if it looks fine.
- Wrap it in a soft cotton or muslin cloth. Plastic traps humidity, which matters through Chandigarh’s monsoon months.
- Store heavy lehengas and sarees folded flat rather than on hangers, and refold them along different lines every few months so zari does not crack at the creases.
- Keep mothballs and naphthalene out of direct contact with zari and metallic thread.
- Choose a dry, dark shelf away from outside walls; direct light fades silk.
Prices and booking
Wedding wear is priced per piece. A silk saree starts from ₹245, a zari saree from ₹325 and an embroidered sherwani from ₹500. Adult lehengas vary with the weight of the work, so share a photo on WhatsApp at 9115-505-505 for a confirmed rate. The full list is on our price list, and outfits that only need a press can go for steam ironing.
