Rolling, polishing or dry cleaning?

Rolling (roll press) gives a saree a smooth, even finish without the hard creases of an ordinary iron, and is ideal when the saree is clean but crumpled after wearing or storage. Polishing restores the sheen of silk that has gone dull. Dry cleaning is needed when there are stains, sweat or a food mark. Many customers combine dry cleaning with rolling before a wedding or festival.

Sarees we handle

Pure silk, Banarasi, Kanjeevaram, Patola, tissue, chiffon, georgette, organza and heavily embellished or zari sarees. Embroidery and zari borders are protected during finishing so threads are not flattened or snagged.

Before a wedding or festival

Book a week or more before the function in the wedding and festive season, especially before Karva Chauth and Diwali. Point out stains such as haldi, mehendi, oil or lipstick when we collect; fresh stains are far easier to remove than ones that have set.

Regular orders come back in 36–72 hours, or the next day with Express at an extra charge. Speciality items and heavy stains can take a few days more; we confirm the return date when we collect.
